4 Airports in 2 Days

29.7.08

Man am I tired!

4 airports in 2 days. That's right: Incheon (Seoul), Hong Kong, Bangkok and Sydney.

Seoul to Hong Kong was a good flight.

In Hong Kong airport we could see the city - as soon as we got off the plane! It felt really strange to see the city so very, very close.

Then after 1 hour we hopped back on the plane and flew to Bangkok.

Unfortunately there was a girl on the flight who didn't want to be there - she screamed and cried all the way to Bangkok.

I was really, really happy to get off that plane!

Then we got to spend one night in Bangkok at a hotel called Le Fenix - all the windows are in the shape of a "L". Crazy huh?

The next day we were back at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport and on our way to Sydney.

The flight to Sydney is overnight - so we need to sleep on the plane. But it's not easy to sleep on a plane. Mike has been travelling longer than I have but I'm still better at sleeping on the plane. Strange huh?

My Mother meets us at the airport. She's crying and I'm crying and Mike thinks we are crazy. But I'm just really happy to be able to hug my Mum.

Mum takes us home and fusses over us. She likes to do that :)

I will put up some photos as soon as I can.

talk soon,
Susie

Seoul

25.7.08

Today Mike and I took a bus to Seoul.

We arrived in Seoul at 12:30pm and went to Myeongdong for lunch.
Mike had donkatseu and I had ramen.

After lunch we went to KEB at the Seoul Global Center then to Nonghyup then to KEB.
It was a very busy afternoon!

When we finished all the bank stuff, we went to Cafe Themselves. To have an iced coffee. It was so so nice :)

For dinner we tried a restaurant called Casa Maya. The food was mexican and it was really, really good! Here is a slide show - the only thing I forgot to take a photo of was the salad! Oh no!

in a while crocodile,

Photos from Taebaek Middle School Camp

23.7.08

On Sunday and Monday, I taught at the Taebaek Summer Middle School Camp.

We had a fun time!

We made tee-shirts, built cars from fruit (and then raced them), made monsters (it was very scary) and played cricket.

Here are some photos so that you can see what we did and here are the photos that Mike took.

bye,
Susie
